David Santos Moreira

David Santos Moreira, 72, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019 at home.  He was born in Coimbra, Portugal and resided in Newark, NJ.  

He was a devoted husband to the late Celeste Moreira; loving father of David Moreira and his wife Tina, Paul Moreira and his wife Carla, and Steven Moreira and his wife Christie; cherished grandfather of Tyler, Joshua, Nicola, Isabella, Emily, Cece, Joey and Amanda; and brother of Henrique and Horacio Moreira. 

Additionally, he is survived by his loving wife Arminda Moreira and her children Sonia Salgado and her husband Nuno, and Liliana Silva; and her grandchildren Nerea and Miriam. 

Visitation for David will be on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 5 – 9 pm at the Alvarez Funeral Home 240 Mt. Prospect Ave., Newark, NJ 07104.  Relatives and friends are welcome to attend.
