Haydee Perez

Haydee Perez, 71, of Newark NJ, gained her wings at 2:33pm, Wednesday, August 7, 2019. She was born January 23,1948 in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico, To Marcelino and Nieves Cruz. She married Angel Luis Perez on November 14th, 1970 and he survives. Also surviving are her three daughters, Rita Perez-Carrillo, Veronica Perez and Ariana Perez: five grandchildren, Timothy Adam Nieves, Lucas Daniel Rodriguez, Ian Luis Rodriguez, Kalea Violet Gonzalez and soon to be here Heidi Gonzalez: three brothers, Salvador Cruz, Ruben Cruz, Victor Cruz and one sister Soraida Cruz. She also had a large extended family and "adopted" children that she loved as her own. Haydee was a long time resident of Newark, NJ where she lived since leaving Puerto Rico at the age of 5. She was a loving and accepting wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt and friend. She loved to cook, crochet, reading, bingo, watching her game shows with her friends every night and spending time with those she loved. She looked forward to sundays dinners with her family every week. The visitation: August 13, 2019 Alvarez Funeral Home 240 Mt.
