Jason Thomas Henriques, age 24, passed on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 in Newark, New Jersey.

Jason was born on February 1, 1994, in Newark, New Jersey, to parents Garcia R. Henriques and Maria L. Henriques. A quiet person, Jason was known by his family and friends to be lovable, funny, solitary, caring and big-hearted. He loved to play games on the computer, listen to music, and tinker with cars. He also loved to spend time with his family, he made people laugh, loved helping others and gave lots of bear hugs.

Jason is survived by his loving parents, Garcia and Maria and his loving sisters, Jessica and Michelle; his paternal grandmother, Gracinda Rodrigues; his maternal grandparents, John and Francelina Araujo; his aunt and uncle, Fernando and Rosa Esteves; his cousins, Steven and Jeffrey Esteves; his aunt, Carol Araujo-Foti; his cousins, Stephanie Matos and Alexander James Brito; extended members of the family, Pete Foti, Mia, Kirstin and Demi Foti; his uncle and aunt Filipe and Placidia Henriques, and his cousins, Joanna and Julianna Cortesao Henriques; and all those whose life he touched.
