Angelo Huertas

Angelo Huertas, 53, passed away on April 24, 2022. The visitation will be on Monday, May 2, 2022, from 6:00 - 9:00pm and on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, from 9:00 - 10:00am. Interment to follow at Arlington Cemetery, Kearny. 

Was born on Wednesday, November 20, 1968 in Newark, NJ to parents Francisca Matos and Angel Suarez. He was the youngest of 14 siblings. He attended Newark Public School and graduated from Barringer High School. He loved the performing arts in all its many forms, especially drawing, a skill he used to freelance art work for the various tattoos he had done.

Above it all he loved music as he said it could transport you anywhere and anytime you wanted to be when you just needed an escape.  This is how he stayed in a positive mood. House, Freestyle, rap, hip hop, salsa, merengue, bachata, reggaetón, rock n roll, Pop and R&B. 

Throughout the majority of his career he was known as a Truck Driver and he had his very own tractor trailer which he drove over-the-road. 

He loved all his family and friends very much, spending time with them and creating memories and sharing laughs.

His proudest achievement was becoming a father to five children. His eldest Beatrice, who gave him his first granddaughter Melania Elise and Achilles Steven. Tiffany who gave him his first grandchild Mickael Luis, Eli, and Pharaoh. Carmen Isabel, who gave him Giovanni DeJesus and Jayson William. His first born son Marco Andres and Anthony Michael, who until recently gave him his last grandson, but although he did leave us at a the young age of 53, he was aware that his family is still growing. 

The Huertas family wants to Thank everyone who contributed and support our us through this difficult time. We want you to remember the good times with Angelo Huertas. Remember the laughter and joy. He will always be in our hearts and memories.
