Carlos Joel Vargas

Carlos “Yolo” Vargas short life ended peacefully on May 28, 2022. His smile lit up every room and his sense of humor made everyone laugh. We will truly miss seeing him play his favorite sport of Baseball. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and father. He also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community.  He was predeceased by his brother David Vargas. And is survived by his mother Elga Vargas, father Carlos Vargas, brother Samuel Vargas, sister Jeanette Vargas-Bonilla and his three wonderful sons Carlos “Yolito” Vargas, Emmanuel “Macho” Vargas and Germaine “Jay” Vargas. He will be sadly missed and will always live in our hearts.  Like his nickname says Y.O.L.O., You Only Live Once on this earth. 

Carlos Joel Vargas, 54, passed away on May 28, 2022. The visitation will be on Friday, June 3, 2022, from 5:00 - 9:00pm and on Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 9:00 - 10:00am. Interment to follow at Arlington Cemetery, Kearny.
