Ernesto Andino Jr also know as “DJ Speedy”, of Newark, 56 passed away peacefully on May 27, 2022 at University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey.
Speedy is survived by his loving parents Ernesto Andino Sr and Carmen Hernandez-Andino. His sons Ernesto “Ernie” and Alex Andino. Granddaughter Zoey, his brother Davey, sister-in-law Carleen, nephews Justin, Jordan & Jayson Andino Along with many uncles, aunts, cousins and devoted lifelong friends.
Speedy was most happy spending time reminiscing about the good old days with family & friends.
He was also a dedicated and loyal fan of the NY Yankees & NFL NY Giants.  For many years DJ Speedy was well known for his creative ability to bring joy through his passionate skills as a DJ behind the music. Speedy will be profoundly remembered as “The Mayor” of the block on Garside Street to all who knew him.
Services will be held on Sunday, June 5th from 2:pm-5:00pm.
