Juana Gonzalez Valentin

Juana Gonzalez Valentin passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020, at the age of 90. She is survived by her 2 brothers; Ceferino Gonzalez, Manuel Gonzalez, her 6 children; Iluminada Valentin, Hermes Valentin, Martin Valentin, Jr., Gladys Valentin, Celio Valentin, Carlos Valentin, and the late Jose Manuel Valentin along with over 20 grand and great-grand-children. Juana was born in Cruces de Aguada, Puerto Rico to the late Maria Vazquez & Jose “Pio” Gonzalez and was one of 9 children. In 1945 she married Martin Valentin and came to the United States shortly after where she resided in Newark, NJ, and would ultimately raise her family. She was a devoted housewife, mother, grandmother, and catholic and remained strong in her faith until the last day. She will now be reunited with her loved ones in Heaven and we will miss her dearly. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15 from 9:30 to 10:30 followed by a Funeral Mass at St Michaels at Church at 11AM. After the Funeral Mass, interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
