Ramon Ramos Jr passed away on May 3, 2021.

Ramon Ramos Jr. passed away on May 3, 2021 at the age of 54, in Syracuse NY. In the recent years, he showed immense courage in his battles with serious medical issues, always facing life’s challenges with a smile.

Ramon was born to Ramon Ramos Sr. and Virginia Acevedo on January 15, 1967 in Newark, NJ.

Ramon is survived by his parents, his sisters, Adelaida “Laly” Ramos and Jeannette “Jini” Ramos, and further survived by nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Ramon was very smart and ingenious with his handy work. He was a general contractor, a builder, a carpenter, an electrician, and a plumber. Additionally, he was an automobile mechanic and could fix just about any appliance.

Ramon was known as a kind, mild-mannered person, and a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He was a calm and loving presence and always open to helping others, especially when it came to his family.

Ramon loved God and spent most of his time at church. He also loved music and playing the guitar and the bass were his passions.

A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 6pm – 8pm and Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 9am – 10am at Alvarez Funeral Home, located at, 240 Mount Prospect Avenue, Newark, NJ 07104. The Interment will take place in Rosehill Cemetery at 10:45am.
