Randolfo Aviles, born on May 28, 1940, in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, peacefully passed away on March 20, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and kindness that will forever be cherished by his family and friends.
Randolfo was born to Agustina Perez and Felix Aviles and was one of five siblings who shared a special bond throughout their lives. At the age of 17, he made the courageous move to New York, where he would build a life full of love, hard work, and cherished memories.
For over 25 years, Randolfo was a devoted employee at Lakeville Lamination, where he excelled as a supervisor and machinist, leaving a lasting impact on his colleagues and the company as a whole.
In 1973, Randolfo met the love of his life, Iris Gonzalez, with whom he shared 49 beautiful years of love, companionship, and mutual respect. Together, they raised two children, Viviana Arroyo and Gabriel Aviles, whom he loved dearly.
Randolfo also extended his love and care to Iris's children from a previous marriage, Alfredo Mendoza, Julie Mendoza, and Ricardo Mendoza, treating them as his own and providing them with unwavering support.
A caring and devoted grandfather, Randolfo leaves behind cherished memories with his grandchildren, Hector Santiago, Jessica Reyes, Andrew Reyes, Aliana Arroyo, and Ethan Arroyo, who brought immense joy and laughter into his life.
After retiring from Lakeville Lamination, Randolfo continued to work independently as a driver, staying active and engaged in his community. He was a familiar and beloved presence at Pueblo Supermarket, as well as Caribe and Melanie Restaurant, where he spent quality time and made lasting friendships.Randolfo Aviles will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Monday March 25th from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
Funeral, Tuesday, March 26th from 9:00 - 9:30 am.
A mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s, Church in Newark at 10:00 am.
Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
