Rosa Medina

On Monday, October 19, 2020, Rosa Maria Medina (AKA Rosita), loving mother and grandmother of four children, grandmother of 10 Grandchildren and Great Grandmother of 18 Great Grand Children passed away at the age of 83.

Rosa was born on June 30, 1937 in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, to Juan and Juanita (Mejias) Rodriguez. She married Fernando Medina on January 4, 1952, and soon after migrated to Newark, NJ. They raised three sons, Fernando, Jr. (Deceased), Nicholas (Deceased) and George, and one daughter, Zenaida.

Rosa had a passion for knitting, when someone she knew had a baby you can rest assure that she would knit something for them. She also loved to take her beloved dog Peanut on his daily walks.

Rosa was preceded in death by her parents Juan & Juanita Rodriguez, siblings Jorge, Providencia, Sergio, Camelia, Miguel, Rosa is survived by her brother Galo, her two children, Zenaida and George, and her 10 Grand Children and 18 Grand Great Grand Children several, nieces, and nephews.
