Zaida Maria Alvarez

ZAIDA Alvarez (1954-2022) born in  El Centro Gallego in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba.  Daughter of Segismundo Alvarez (deceased)ZAIDA Alvarez (deceased) foster child of James Pullan (deceased) Joyce Pullan (deceased)
Arrived in the United States April 12, 1962 under  Operation Peter Pan
Was sent to Mt St Johns Academy in Gladstone, New Jersey where she attended school.  That same year
She was placed along  with her 2 sisters with an amazing family, the Pullans and their 7 children, Kathlyn Watkins Pullan, Patricia Regina, James Pullan, Thomas Pullan (deceased) Margaret Pullan, Joan Brennan and John Pullan, who became her dear family where she was the happiest.
Anyone who had the fortune of coming in contact with ZAIDA loved and respected her including doctors and nurses at University Hospital and many friends because of her loving, caring and selfless ways.
Survived by her daughter Lizette Lima, grandson Brandon Perez, and sisters Teresita Molina, Christine Veliz, brother in-law Ovidio Molina,
Nieces and nephews Jorge Luis Veliz, Omar Veliz, Carrie Veliz, Lara Ramos, Lorrie Rodriguez and many grand nephews and nieces
